Conventionally, if you have feelings that a certain currency lets assume the Dollar is going to strengthen against another cuency say Naira. Then all you have to do is to buy the Dollar and sell it later when it appreciates as you thought.

For Example...
If the Dollar sells for N120 and due to an occurrence you feel the Dollar is going to strengthen against the Naira, and you buy. Then Dollar appreciated like you speculated and now sells for N127 this means that you would have made a profit of N7 on every 1 Dollar you bought if you now sell back the dollar for Naira.

Who can trade FOREX?
Anyone with the urge to make a substantial income or willing to add some more zeros to his or hercurrent income. In fact you must have had one time traded forex currencies unknown to you, any time you go to bank, bureau do change a currecy for another then you have traded forex.

So, what do you need to trade FOREX?

1.    You need a computer (desktop or laptop)

2.    You need a internet connection (with a fast network)

3.    And lastly you need to be trained.
